I was just look at the statistic for Ada County Real Estate and the number of homes sold in April is up from March this year. That one more sign that the Boise Real Estate Market is improving. The hottest market has been in NW Meridian where 64 homes sold last month. 22 new homes and 42 existing homes. That's almost 2 existing homes to one new home! So the existing home market is doing well. Overall in the Ada County Real Estate Market Existing Home Sales make up 77.43% of all the homes sold in Ada County in April 2008. That's good news for the existing home market. You can take a look at all the Statistics by clicking here. The average days on the market has actually increased from March to April 2008. In April the average days on the market for an existing home was 69 days and the average days on the market for a new home was 83. If your home is listed for sale and is priced according to what the market statistics say it should sell for than that's about how long it should take for it to sell.

I was just on Realtor.Org, the website for Realtors© reading about their predictions for the upcoming months as far as Real Estate sales go. Well their predictions say that sales are going to continue to increase and price will start slowly climbing. Over the past 30 years, home prices have went up 6% a year on the average and the price of your home nearly doubles every 10 years. What a great investment! Just think, if you put a 3% down payment on a $100,000 home and the average appreciation is 6%, the value of your home went up $6,000! That 3% down payment is $3,000 and the home appreciated $6,000! You double your down payment investment in 1 Year and in 10 years your $100,000 home should nearly double. So, what are you waiting for, go buy a home and invest in your future!

Good Morning & Good News!
Yesterday in the Wall Street Journal it said the Housing Crisis is Over. It state we were at the Bottom and could look for things to start turning around. It also mentioned that the housing market had peaked in 2005 and that it had been declining since. It went on to say homes had dropped 10-15% in the last 3 years. In the 1990s and early 200s it took 19% of our income to pay for a home, but by 2005-2006 it took 39% of 1st time home buyers income to purchase a home just putting too much burden on the family income and people quit buying homes because they couldn't afford to. So, lets celebrate and give a cheer to the Wall Street Journal for announcing the Housing Crisis is Over!

The Boise Real Estate market is doing great and still growing. New subdivisions continue to open and new homes are continuing to be built. The Boise area has been named in Forbes Magazine a number of times as being one of the top places for Business and Careers. Our life style, low crime and 4 definite season's seems to attract people and businesses. Bosie is the capital of Idaho and is located at the base of foothills to the north. The Boise river runs through town and has a green belt along the river all the way through town to Lucky Peak Dam Recreation Area. So, if you haven't checked out Bosie Idaho RealEstate do it now as 2008 is a good time to buy!
